Who are your feminist music icons? Will you share your favourite music with us? What kinds of lyrics empower you? How do you combine womanhood and making music? Why do feminist struggles need to be an act of solidarity and why do they need to not only combat the discrimination of white women but of all women: Black women, women of color, the economically disadvantaged, transgendered women, lesbian, bisexual women and women with disabilities?

In the music and performance project Sound of Feminism, young post-migrant, queer and BPoC women* exchanged their views on these issues with the musicians Isabel Gonzalez Toro and Christine Seraphin. They were jamming together and were experimenting with music and lyrics.

The debut performance at the youth club Skandal was sold out and now they come for two nights to Ballhaus Naunynstraße!
