Raphael Käding

Raphael Käding was born in Schwerin. He has been a guest student in theater pedagogy and directing at the Maxim Gorki Theater since 2008. He was an extra in Antigone and Amphitryon by Jan Bosse, played at the Youth Club of the Vagantenbühne in 2009 and various roles at TiK SÜD and the Gorki Studio (including in Fieber, directed by Anna Bergmann). Since 2010 he has been studying at HMT Leipzig and since 2012 he has worked at Studio Gorki in Berlin with Michael Schweighöfer, Jan Gehler, Antu Romero Nunes, Jan Neumann, Armin Petras and Holger Stockhaus, among others. Under the pseudonym JACKIE WHISPER he produces his own music, performance videos and short films. He had nine years of drum lessons and composes his own songs on piano and accordion.
