Alina Sapchidis studied theater studies, art history and American studies in Berlin. After graduating, she worked at the Berliner Ensemble as an assistant dramaturg, then as a dramaturg at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg. She is currently a freelance dramaturg in Berlin and Salzburg. With Anestis Azas she worked for Ballhaus Naunynstraße. Her most recent works were Srebrenica based on an account by Hasan Nuhanović and the revue Nächte im Moulin Rouge based on a novel by Pierre La Mure at Schauspielhaus Salzburg.
