Aliza Yanes
Aliza Yanes’ artistic practice combines literary research, creative writing, mediation, political activism and performance. She studied literature in Lima and completed a master’s degree in interdisciplinary Latin American studies. As an author, she has published the books La serpiente del arcoíris (2012), Yurupary (2012), the co-editions Seres Fantásticos del Perú (2014) and Seres Fantásticos de la Amazonía (2018), as well as the book objects Cosmosiones (2014) and Historias Selladas (2016). She currently lives in Berlin, works with Art in Context at the Universität der Künste (UdK Berlin) and is part of the collectives Radio Matraca and Corriente Sur.
