Amina Eisner
Amina Eisner was born in Berlin in 1990. After graduating from high school, she studied acting and directing (drama) at Liverpool John Moores University. At Ballhaus Naunynstraße she was assistant director for Kings (directed by Nora Abdel Maksoud), among others. Together with Thandi Sebe, Amina Eisner wrote Jung, giftig und Schwarz. In the play, which premiered at Ballhaus Naunynstraße in 2015, they co-directed and performed on stage as Polly and Laela. In June 2019, she completed her Masters in Dramatic Writing at the Drama Centre London (Central Saint Martins). She currently lives and works in Berlin. Most recently, she took part in the writing workshop Unconventional Signs – neue postmigrantische Theatertexte at Ballhaus Naunynstraße (2020/21). Together with Atif Mohammed Nor Hussein, she also developed the script for Courageux! Fearless! (2022) and also acted as a performer in the premiere.
