Angela Konti

Angela Konti

Angela Konti was born in Athens in 1979, where she started studying interior design. In 2002 she came to Berlin for an Erasmus semester, and graduated in 2007 from the stage design class at the UdK Berlin. Since then she has been working as a freelance set and costume designer and has participated in The Shepherdess‘ Lover (2007, directed by A. Azas) at the „Athens & Epidauros Theater Festival“ and SabineX (2009, directed by A. Azas) at the Greek National Theater of Athens, among others. She did set and costume design for the films Neuneinhalbs Abschied (Berlin, 2010, directed by H. Dyrschka), which won the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Short Film Award in Wiesbaden in 2011, and Musikhof (Berlin, 2010, directed by Thomas Kiaos), nominated for Best Short Film 2012 by the Hellenic Film Academy, among others. She also worked as a production designer for the film The House (Scotland, 2012, directed by Gemma Ovens).
