Anita Vulescia was born in Munich in 1974 and grew up in Zadar (Croatia) and Berlin. She graduated from the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch Berlin and went on to her first engagement at the Theaterhaus Jena in 2001-2004. From 2004 she freelanced at the National Theater Weimar, Sophiensaele Berlin, Schaubühne Berlin, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Neues Theater Halle and Staatstheater Stuttgart. In 2008-2010 she was an ensemble member at Schauspiel Leipzig. In 2009 she was awarded the Leipzig Theater Prize. In the 2010-11 season she was engaged as a guest at the Deutsches Theater and Schauspiel Frankfurt. Anita Vulesica can be seen in various film and television productions, including since 2011 in Ein Fall für zwei, in Tatort (Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart) and in Polizeiruf Schwerin. She has been an ensemble member at the Deutsches Theater since the 2011/12 season.
