Boris von Poser
Boris von Poser, born in Munich and raised in Heidelberg, studied directing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 1987 to 1992. He then worked for two years as an assistant to Peter Zadek on productions at the Akademietheater in Vienna and the Kammerspiele in Munich. Since 1994, he has produced plays and musical theater productions at theaters throughout the German-speaking world. He has worked at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen, the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg, the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Schauspiel Leipzig, the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the Kunstfest Pelerinages and the Kunstfest Pelerinages in Weimar. In Berlin, he directed at Sophiensaele, the Neuköllner Oper and the Theater am Halleschen Ufer. As a dramaturge, he has worked on dance theater projects with choreographer Olaf Schmidt, unterwegs theater, AZet Dance Company, and A+B Tanzbau, among others. In 2011, Henschel-Verlag published his book Traumberuf Regisseur.
