Çetin Gültekin, born in 1974, is an industrial mechanic by profession. Until the racist terror attack on 19 February 2020, he was self-employed and ran a forwarding company. Born and raised in Hanau, where he still lives, he became one of the prominent faces in the fight against racism and for justice – both in the name of his murdered brother and for the other victims and their families.
