Christian Schmidt studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art. After permanent engagements in Potsdam and Bremen, he has been working as a freelance actor for several years. He has performed at the Schaubühne Berlin and the Staatstheater in Stuttgart, and has worked with directors such as Robert Wilson, Martin Meltke, Luk Perceval, Thomas Dannemann and Friederike Heller. He regularly appears in front of the camera for film and television productions. Several audio books with him have been published by Argon and Hörverlag.
