Citlali Huezo is a performing artist, pedagogue, and massage therapist. She was born in El Salvador and grew up in Mexico City. Since 2008, she has lived in Berlin, working in theatre, performance, and movement pedagogy. Her approach combines a passion for the living arts with a commitment to wellbeing through bodily practices. Trained at La Casa del Teatro de México and specializing in Theatre of the Body, Citlali has worked as a teacher of ‘body dramaturgy’ at various theatre schools. She has also worked as a coach and choreographer on major productions, including with the National Theatre Company of Mexico. Throughout her career, she has given workshops in Germany, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, focusing on vulnerable groups and facilitating body sessions for wellbeing, including massage and somatic movement.
