Deepika Arwind is a performer and theatre-maker based in Bangalore, India. Her body of work (among others) includes a solo No Rest in the Kingdom, about every day misogyny, a cheeky and satirical physical theatre piece has been touring the country for the last 18 months and has been very well-received. Her new dance-theatre work i am not here , is a 10-step guide in how to censor women’s writing, and will premier in October 2018. She is interested in making work which is at the intersection of gender and … anything really. She was a participant at Theatretreffen’s Internationales Forum in May 2018.
