Dejan Bućin

Dejan Bućin

Dejan Bućin was born in 1985 in Belgrade (today: Serbia) and grew up partly there, partly in Germany and Austria. In 2002 he moved from Belgrade to Frankfurt and already during his school years he played in two productions by Alexander Brill at Schauspiel Frankfurt. From 2005 he studied acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich, where he performed at the Metropol Theater. From 2008 to 2012 he was engaged at the Berliner Ensemble. There he appeared on stage in productions of Die Dreigroschenoper, Das Käthchen von Heilbronn, Oedipus auf Kolonos, Romeo und Julia and Der Parasit, among others. In 2009, he performed in the world premiere of Shakespeare’s Sonnets by Robert Wilson and Rufus Wainwright. In the 2013/14 season he appeared at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Common Ground (directed by Yael Ronen).
