Emre Aksızoğlu was born in Heidelberg in 1988 and grew up in Mannheim. After graduating from high school, he began studying acting at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen, Bochum, in 2008 (graduating in 2011). Already in 2009 he appeared in Romeo und Julia (Romeo and Juliet) in Cilli Drexel’s production at Schauspielhaus Essen. The following year, he starred in Richard III directed by Brian Michaels at the same theater. Emre Aksızoğlu plays in Verrücktes Blut for the first time at Ballhaus Naunynstraße.
