Enoka Ayemba works as a film curator and author in Berlin. His work focuses on African cinema cultures, the Nigerian video film industry, and anti-colonial resistance. He has produced several film series in this context, including african reflections – female directors in cinema (Berlin, 2007 with Philippa Ébéné), Siehst du mich? A Film Series in the Context of 50 Years of African Independence (Berlin, 2010), African Threads and Laces (Vienna, 2011 with Katja Wiederspahn), Schwarze Menschen und das Nazi-Regime (Berlin, 2013). Enoka Ayemba directed from 2009 to 2013, the monthly film series Afro Digital (formerly Nollywood Spezial) at Werkstatt der Kulturen Berlin and was a Selection Committee member of the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2010. He is co-founder of the Berlin-based curatorial group Remember Resistance.
