Falilou Seck was born in Chelles in 1966. He studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art and became a member of the ensemble of the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in 1995. He plays at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Schauspiel Essen, Volkstheater München, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin and at Schauspiel Frankfurt, from which he is invited to the Epidauros Festival in 2007 for his role in Orestie. He works with Johann Kresnik, Armin Petras, Sebastian Baumgarten, Sascha Hawemann, Michael Thalheimer and Karin Neuhäuser. At Theater Bonn, Falilou Seck plays the lead role in Lukas Langhoff’s production of Ibsen’s Ein Volksfeind, which was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2012.
