Grada Kilomba is a writer. She is the author of the celebrated book Plantation Memories, a compilaton of episodes of everyday racism written in the form of short psychoanalytical stories. Last year she was awarded as one of the „Most Inspiring Black Women in Europe“, due to her writings and performative readings. Grada Kilomba has been working in several theatre projects, as well as in the writing and direction of staged readings based in London, Oslo and Berlin. Currently she is a professor for gender studies at the Humboldt University, Berlin.
