Hans Andreas Guttner is the founder of the production company SISYPHOS FILM and was on the board of the „Distribution Cooperative of Filmmakers“ as well as the initiator of the Munich International Documentary Film Festival in the early 1980s. He has produced numerous films for cinema and television. His most important work was the pentalogy Europa – Ein transnationaler Traum, consisting of the films Alamanya Alamanya – Germania Germania, Familie Villano kehrt nicht zurück, Im Niemandsland, Dein Land ist mein Land and Kreuz und quer.
