Harshini J. Karunaratne is a Sri Lankan-Peruvian digital artist and projection designer. She is passionate about the intersection of moving images and performance, having graduated with honors in Film & New Media and Theatre from New York University Abu Dhabi in 2018. Harshini currently resides in Berlin where she completed her Masters in New Media Design. In her work, Harshini explores themes relating to climate change, gender, the body, and the afterlife. Harshini has had her work shown in Germany, The Netherlands, Peru, Italy, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Greece, as well as at FILE Festival in Brazil and at Burning Man in the US.
