Jana Heilmann is a director of site-specific performances and physical theater as well as a costume designer. She studied sculpture in Berlin, circus in Barcelona and street theater direction in Marseille and has worked with Teatr Novogo Fronta (Physical Theatre, Prague), Les Filles Föllen (Barcelona), Xirriquiteula teatre (Barcelona), Troika (Berlin), GrowingUpInPublic (Terschelling). On her own she has created, among others, the street theater piece JumpWhileYouCan in Marseille for 15 actors, 10 car wrecks, 2 motorcyclists and a dog. Currently she lives and works in Berlin.
