Jessica Massóchua

Jessica Massóchua is a political educator, activist, and moderator. In her educational work, she loves to ignite methodological fireworks that spark exchange, foster mutual understanding, and never skimp on WUPs/energizers. Jessica especially enjoys learning from children and young people, whose creativity and clarity continually open up new horizons. As an aunty and educator, it is close to her heart to create safe spaces where young people in particular can unfold, grow stronger, feel at ease, and take a deep breath. For the past two and a half years, she co-led the children’s and youth department at Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. In her engagement within various (Black) community spaces, Jessica focuses on community building and directs her activism especially toward social justice, as well as resistance against racist police violence and state neglect. She is part of KOP – the Campaign for Victims of Racist Police Violence – and the Justice for Rooble Warsame initiative. Jessica Massóchua moderates the panel Widerständiges Feiern I: Feiern als politischer Akt, developed by Fabienne Mahwane, at Ballhaus Naunynstraße.
