Jide Tom Akinleminu is a Danish-Nigerian filmmaker. In 2004, he moved to Berlin to study cinematography at the DFFB. In 2013, he completed his studies with the documentary Portrait of a Lone Farmer, which was successfully screened at festivals and won the 3-Sat Förderpreis at the Duisburger Filmwoche 2014 and the African Movie Academy Award, among others. His follow-up film, When A Farm Goes Aflame, premiered at the Berlinale in 2021 and received the African Studies Association Film Prize in 2022.
