Johannes Klever was born in Prüm/Eifel. He studied art at the UdK Berlin from 2008 to 2012, in 2011 he became a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. His works were shown in the group exhibitions GEIST 2 (October 2010), Bridges & Barries – rescues Berlin (May 2011) and Kombi 1 (Kunstquartier Bethanien, June 2012), among others. Johannes Klever assisted the designer Hans Jürgen Pahl, the artist Gregor Hildebrandt and since 2015 Julius von Bismarck. Since 2014 he has been a freelancer for konzept:werk and has reaslated artworks for Olafur Eliasson, Rosa Barba, Alicja Kwade and Marit Neeb, among others. In 2015 he opened his solo show IMAGINE KNOW HOW at Galerie Braennen in Berlin.
