Julian Mehne
Julian Mehne grew up in West Berlin. Studied acting at the Westfälische Schauspielschule Bochum. Since 1995 theater engagements include Bochum, Bremen, Mannheim, Mainz, Bielefeld, Bonn and the operas in Kiel and Dresden. He was awarded the Best Young Actor Prize of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1998 for Leonce in Leonce und Lena and the Bad Hersfeld Prize in 2001 for Orest in Iphigenie auf Tauris. Since 2003 he has performed regularly at the Maxim Gorki Theater. Most recently, he was seen at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau as Peer Gynt and Hamlet, among others, and at festivals in Paris, Lyon and Barcelona in acclaimed productions by Niklas Ritter and David Marton. Julian Mehne has appeared in several films and is a voice actor for radio, television and audio book productions.
