Kadir Yılmaz was born in Turkey and studied at the HfM Berlin „Hanns Eisler“ with Prof. Inge Wilczok. He has played numerous concerts both in Turkey and in Europe. He recorded an album Muhayyel with Begüm Uğur Boyancı. In his most recent work 10 Anatolische Lieder, he has arranged, recorded and published Classical Turkish Music and also Anatolian Folk Songs. Since 2007 he has been working at the Paul Hindemith Music School in Berlin as a guitar teacher.
