In his films, Kamal Al Jarafi incorporates documentary material, fiction and personal memories, thus creating complex portraits of the Palestinian communities in Ranleh and Jaffa. He was a fellow at Harvard University, taught Film at the New School in New York City and served as a senior lecturer in the directing program at DFFB Berlinn.
