Lamin Leroy Gibba [he/him] is an actor, screenwriter and filmmaker. He gained his first theater experience in the youth group of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and studied acting and film at the New School University in New York. Engagements followed at the Classical Theater of Harlem, Performance Space New York, Theater Oberhausen, Kampnagel Hamburg, Ballhaus Naunynstraße and in film and television productions. His short films include Fever Source and Cloud Zero. Most recently, he wrote the screenplay and starred in Hundefreund, which won the Berlin Short Film Roll and screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, BFI Flare Film Festival and Gropius Bau, among others. Lamin lives and works in Berlin.
