Mai Zeidani Yufanyi is a social sciences MA student at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Her work focuses on postcolonial migration societies in Europe and elsewhere, asylum and migration policies, identity formation processes and aspects of these in the context of Palestinian and Israeli societies, etc. As a woman of color, migrant and Palestinian, intersectional approaches play a central role in her work.
Mai Zeidani Yufanyi is also an activist of the Karawane für die Rechte der MigrantInnen und Flüchtling (Caravan for Migrant and Refugee Rights) since 2005 and a member of The VOICE Refugee Forum since 2007.
She lives in Berlin together with her partner and two children.
