Marque-Lin is a Vietnamese-American activist, performance artist and scholar based in Germany. Marque-Lin is the founder of MSG & Friends, a queer-led artist collective dedicated to curating community spaces and professional presentations for the Asian artist diaspora in Europe. Marque-Lin also co-founded United Networks, a national non-profit organization that addresses inequality and institutional barriers for BiPoC artists in Germany. Marque-Lin’s writing has been published internationally in magazines and publications such as Lodown, DADDY Magazine and STATE Studio. In the field of performance, Marque-Lin has had the opportunity to work and perform with various cultural institutions such as ARTE, English Theater Berlin, Gorki and Gessnerallee Zurich. Marque-Lin is also a fellow of Humanity in Action Berlin, an international non-profit organization that trains and networks young leaders on human and minority rights issues. At Ballhaus Naunynstraße, Marque-Lin developed the sound performance Unknown Frequencies (2022)together with Emilio Cordero Checa for the Festival Decolonial Frequencies. The world premiere of Patty Kim Hamilton’s Auf dem Mars sieht die Welt so aus (2023) as part of Unconventional Signs – neues postmigrantisches Theater was Marque-Lin’s debut as a theater director.
