Nzambisa is a cultural worker, podcaster, and vinyl DJ. Raised in Berlin and influenced by Congolese rumba, gospel, and a wide range of diverse genres, she has a versatility that is also reflected in her DJ sets. Her sound is shaped by both African musical traditions and the multifaceted soundscapes of the diaspora. Driving, experimental, and full of curiosity, Nzambisa takes her audience on a shared musical journey. Her only rule: radical openness for genres, styles, and each other. At Ballhaus Naunynstraße, Nzambisa is involved as a DJ in the party Sound of the Souls (2025) – presented by the akademie der autodidakten as part of the festival Black Berlin Black – Festivity.
