Composer Oliver Doerell is a long-time companion of Modjgan Hashemian. They have already worked together on six productions. His compositions are based on „field recordings“, electronic noise loops and rhythmic fragments. Abstract electronic sounds meet acoustic instruments. Much is created on self-made instruments, a bass kalimba and a rubber band drum. Oliver Doerell released 10 albums with various bands and projects (Dictaphone / SWOD / Cummi Flu / Raz ohara & the odd orchestra) and played concerts worldwide.
