Priscila Rezende is an interdisciplinary artist who works mainly with performance, developing also works in installation and photography. Race, identity, the insertion and presence of the black individual and women in contemporary society act as main drivers and questions raised in the work of Priscila Rezende. From her own experiences as a black and latin american woman, imposed limitations, discrimination and stereotypes are exposed in intense works, which seek to establish with the public a direct and clear dialogue.

Priscila graduated in Visual Arts by Guignard-UEMG School (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) with specialization in Photography and Ceramics. Among his works stand out the 1st Perplexed Exhibition of Performances, Belo Horizonte / 2010; shows Another Presence, Pampulha Art Museum, Belo Horizonte / 2013; Zero Limit Exhibition, Rabieh Gallery, São Paulo / 2014; The Incantation of the Disquieting Muse, SAVVY Contamporary, Berlin / 2016; Performatus #2, Sesc Santos, Santos / 2017; Black Indices Exhibition, Caixa Cultural, São Paulo / 2017; Afro-Atlantic Histories exhibition, Tomie Ohtake Institute, São Paulo / 2018; Theater and Street Art Festival, Valladolid / 2019; Malta Festival, Poznan / 2019; and was a resident artist at Central Saint Martins, London / 2018; and Art Omi, New York / 2018.
