Susanne Hiller

Susanne Hiller was born in Hamburg in 1979. From 2001 to 2006 she studied stage and costume design at the HFG Offenbach and at the HGK Zurich. In 2006 she graduated with distinction and in the same year was awarded the young stage designer prize „Offenbacher Löwe“ for her diploma project BLACK BOX, theater for 8 remote-controlled robots. In addition to assisting Johannes Schütz at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and DT Berlin, she has worked as a freelance stage and costume designer for theaters since 2007, including the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Schauspielhaus Wien, Landestheater Linz, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Theater Augsburg and Theater Ingolstadt. Since 2005 she has also been working in the independent scene, among others with the Austrian artist group gold extra.
