Timur Işık was born in Hamburg in 1980 and completed his acting training at the Berlin University of the Arts from 2002 to 2006. Immediately afterwards, he joined the ensemble of the Munich Volkstheater for three years, where his roles included Woyzeck in Christian Stückl’s production. This was followed by guest engagements at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Stadtthaeter Bern, the Freie Kammerspiele Magdeburg, the Heimathafen Neukölln and other theaters. He has also appeared in the feature films 5 Jahre Leben by Stefan Schaller, Ayla, directed by Su Turhan, Eine flexible Frau by Tatjana Turanskyi and Viva Berlin by Moritz Mohr, as well as in numerous television productions. As a voice actor, he has participated in various radio play productions, features and television dubbings.
