Yuko Matsuyama is a theater performer, musician and dancer. After her theater training, she worked with the musical, revue, and dance company Takarazuka and toured with numerous shows, including Me & My Girl, Grand Hotel, and Elisabeth. She has been a freelance performer since 2001 and has participated in various dance theater, improvisation, and music projects. She has collaborated with Tomi Paasonen, A+B Tanzbau, Uran Hirosaki, Yannis Adoniou, Xaver von Trayer, Patrick Catani, and Hula Hut & the Seven Seas, among others.
