Miriam Marto, born 1981 in Tübingen. Studied fashion design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Pforzheim. 2007-2009 assistant at the fashion labels BLESS and LUTZ in Paris. 2009 nominated for the fashion and theater promotion award „Prix Juste-au-corps“ in Lucerne. 2009-2010, she worked as costume assistant at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin with directors Thomas Ostermeier, Marius von Mayenburg and Alex Rígola, among others. Collaboration as costume designer with Bruce LaBruce, the soloist ensemble Kaleidoskop, Nevin Aladağ, Aliénor Dauchez, Moritz Riesewieck, Philipp Baumgarten and Milla Koistinen (Hebbel am Ufer, Sophiensaele, Radialsystem, bat-Studiotheater, Tanzforum Berlin, Bayer Kulturhaus).
