Arriving In the Future. Stories of Home and Exile brings together Black writers and performers who consider Germany as the place where their life is centred. On stage they take the floor to make their voices heard; to speak for themselves instead of the usual scenario of being made the subject of discussion, rendered problematic and talked about by mainstream society.
The third issue of Arriving in the Future at Ballhaus Naunynstraße will primarily present the recent publication of the anthology by the same name at the Black Lux festival. An evening of discussion, spoken word, performance and music, followed by a party.
The event will take place in German and English.
