My father is from Sri Lanka. My mother from Germany. I’m going to a Portuguese school as my mother was planning to emigrate to Brazil at some point. I was born in Berlin. This is my home.

I don’t have family here. My family is in Portugal.

Entre nós reveals the stories, dreams and hopes of young postmigrants from the German-Portuguese European School Heinrich-von-Kleist in Berlin.

From birth they share the experience of living in different worlds ‒ Germany, Portugal, Sri Lank and Brazil. This situation always means: various languages, family histories and values. Based on interviews with the participants short theatrical scenes were developed in an intense four-months workshop process.
