Our art is political, resistant and utopian. Queerness, feminism, Black Lives, metaspora, (post-)colonialism define us and our artistic work. With each work, a strategy to intervene artistically and socially is being experimented.
Let’s talk about it: in two networking meetings, we bring our experiences together. On two days we want to discuss our forms of intervention, decolonial aesthetics and of new alliances.
Daniel Lima, artist, activist and co-founder of „Frente 3 de Fevereiro“, as well as meLê yamomo, performer and musicologist with a focus on decolonial critique of the European’s understanding of music, will be offering an imput.
