On weekends, Sebastián, a 17-year-old Cuban, turns into Mila Caos at illegal drag shows in the suburbs of Havana. He smarts under his mother’s feigned indifference and dreams of her admiring him on stage one day.

Posh is a film about an alien in a human body. Ronique XXX lives in Berlin as an artist and academic. She creates Hard-Sci-Fuckin’-Funk music and phosphorescent performances, appearing as a transcendent, supra-gendered goddess. When she witnesses the murder of a sex worker, she turns into a supernatural avenging angel.

The screening is followed by a discussion in english with the director and the sociologist Kaciano Gadelha.
