Panel: Forging an Asian-European film network

Asian German self-representations still have no place in Germany’s media public. What are the institutional gatekeepers, and how can film practitioners and curators from within a wider European context collaboratively push back? This panel envisions cultural practices and political strategies opening into concrete forms of Asian European self-representation.

Guests: Lucy Sheen (filmmaker and actor, England), Frederic Chao (filmmaker and actor, France), Uisenma BORCHU (film maker and actress, Germany).

Moderated by Anna Hong Xian (founder of BAFnet, AFFB curator, Berlin)
