What will our life be like in 20 years? What will we feel, see, eat, hear and wear? How will we move around? Or will we even leave the house at all since our virtual identity has made our appearance in public unnecessary? Berlin Kreuzberg, a megacity controlled by transnational multicorporate enterprises, the real estate prices have gone sky high, old people’s homes on every corner and the inner city is bordered by slums. In the 22nd edition of Kiez-Monatsschau, young post-migrants embark on a journey through time into the near future together with the filmmaker and expert for issues of the future, Mehmet Can Koçak, and enact various probable and improbable scenarios using the medium film.
