NEVZAT AKPINAR UND HAYDAR KUTLUER

Featuring Nevzat Akpınar, Haydar Kutluer, Andreas Weiser, Wolfgang Musick

The Berlin musicians Nevzat Akpınar (bağlama, piano, composition) and Haydar Kutluer (bağlama, vocals), who have already performed at the Carnegie Hall in New York, will now perform a concert on stage at Ballhaus Naunynstraße. This time they will be accompanied by Wolfgang Musick (contrabass) and Andreas Weiser (percussion).
The program presented includes classic Turkish tunes they have unconventionally arranged for bağlama and piano as well as compositions by Nevzat Akpınar that cover a range from Anatolian tradition to the European classical musical language, with both musical cultures merging. Contrabass and percussion broaden the night’s soundscape further.
