The Wild Swans

Eine Performance von Raafat Hattab

Raafat Hattab was a kid when he was introduced to The wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen. Brought to him by his aunt he was fascinated by the ability of the swans to keep their human consciousness and of their sister to remain silent even under the worst circumstances. So is The Bride Of Palestine (Arouse Falasteen), Raafat Hattab’s performance persona that also is a reference to the ancient port city of Jaffa. Remaining silent she raises her voice for human rights through others in a ferocious lip-sync claim. A refugee in her own kingdom trying to save her brothers who were banished from their homeland The Bride of Palestine refers to every human being living under oppression. After four years of silence The Bride of Palestine comes back on stage presenting a new performance based on the The Wild Swans and the meaning of Logos as the vibration that creates, drives and inspires the world.
