Heroes are created through brave individuals, through the media and corporations, through political groups. The ubiquitous heroes are usually the fake ones. Black Lives Matter has overturned monuments of memories and created its own iconic images, in order to shape the future. The fight for representation is a fight for memory and for future-oriented role models.
