Amada Tinoco is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. She develops her artistic work as a performer and creator in different scenic and educational projects between Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Colombia. Amada Tinoco is currently a member of the LAOTRA collective, where she coordinates scenic and artistic research projects.
She came to dance through the artistic-educational project El Colegio del Cuerpo de Cartagena de Indias (1997-2005). Here she received professional training in modern and contemporary dance and was part of the school’s professional company. During her training, she participated in a study exchange with the CNDC Angers (2002-2004) and in Germany with the Kampnagel Theater (2003). In 2021, Tinoco graduated from the Institut des Teatre de Barcelona at the Conservatory of Modern Dance with a degree in Theatre Pedagogy.
At Ballhaus Naunynstraße she is the only dancer in the theater production Aesthetics of Color by Toks Körner and in two choreographies: Junctions by Nasheeka Nedsreal and Everybody Can Be Everybody Can Not Be by Jao Moon.
