Carmen Dalfogo was born in Bochum in 1967 to Bosnian-Croatian parents. After her acting training at the Folkwang-Hochschule Essen, various freelance and permanent engagements followed, including at the Grillo Theater Essen, the Erlangen Theater, the Staatstheater Hannover, the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz Berlin, the Duisburger Akzenten, the Schlosstheater Moers, the Zeitgenössische Oper Berlin, the Volksbühne Basel and the Sommerblutfestival Cologne. Since August 2013 she has also been teaching performing arts at the Marienschule in Berlin-Neukölln. Since 2008 she is a member of Theater Operation.
