Daniel Martins

Daniel Martins was born in Brazil in 1984. He graduated in Portuguese Language and Literature from the State University of Ouro Preto, Brazil and has a Master in Screenwriting from the International School of Film and Television, San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Since then, he has worked as a writer in various fields for film and theater. Martin’s work has taken him to different countries such as Brazil, Cuba, Germany and USA. In all his works, the themes of postmigration, Latin America and LGBTTIQ are addressed. His most important works so far include the documentary short Traced in light (2012), the book and film I share my wife (2013), and now Gritty Glamour, a fictional theater piece based on interviews.
