Dr. Emilia Roig founded the Center for Intersectional Justice (CIJ) in 2017. CIJ is dedicated to advancing equality and justice for all by combating intersecting forms of structural inequality and discrimination in Europe. Prior to founding CIJ, Dr. Roig was project director at the German Federation of Migrant women’s organisations (DaMigra) and worked in leading international and non-governmental organizations, such as Amnesty International, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
