Wangui wa Goro is a translation scholar, author, translator, and editor. For many years, she has been involved in promoting arts and cultural projects – especially in relation to literatures in African languages, translation, and translation studies – in Africa, the United States, and Europe through teaching, outreach, and research. Her current work focuses on knowledge management, translation, traducture, and localization. Goro is a translator of such notable authors as Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o and Véronique Tadjo.
